Dr. Bronner is here......

UPS came last night with the package and ironic enough the guy says "Dr. Bronner, I love that stuff, I don't use anything else!" Well dang really... we are at a good start. My package contained almond soap (for my hair) lavender soap (for my body), and baby unscented for my sweetie pie daughter. I used the body wash last night and this morning and I love the feel of my skin, I am so ready to wash my hair and I cannot wait to try the shampoo. Results to come later today....

I bought the peppermint soap the other day and washed my hiar with it, My hair felt great, it felt really clean but still soft. It didn't do anything for my build up though :-( which is the reason I bought it but as soon as my consultant gives me the ok this will probably be my shampoo of choice. be sure to tell me what you thought of it.

SOFT, thats what I'm looking for. Some days my hair feels soft and sometimes I think it feels a bit "crunchy". So it doesn't really remove build up on your scalp or the actual locks? I don't get much build up in my scalp. I will definitely let you know the results.

I can't wait to read your thoughts on the soap. I actually bought other scents as well and last night I used it as a body wash. 18 different uses for a big bottle of soap. Can't beat that.

Crunchy hair is a big problem for me since I'm not supposed to use any other product. PLEASE let us know how it goes!!!! Has anyone tried the rose scent?

I have been using the Dr Bronners range as a body wash for the last 3-4 months, I purchased the litre bottles of Rose, ( lovely scent!!!) Almond, Tea tree, and Aloe vera unscented. I have not used them on my loc'd hair, but I did find it drying when used to wash my natural hair, AND on my skin (yes I dilute with water). However, I have very sensitive skin, and my skin allergies (sun related) have reduced drastically since I began use. I love the product!

I love the soap as the body wash! I need to go back online and order some more soaps. I may go as far as purchasing the lip balm. Organic, how can you go wrong?

Hey to avoid shipping cost the products are sold at Target as well, check it out if there is one near you. Also the build is not on my scalp just in my hair around my hairline. I rarely get dry scalp or flakes unless my hair is really dirty. That's why I'm at such a loss as to what is giving me the build up.

Kay - shipping was free but I had to purchase at least $20, which is easy. However, Target, that is one of my staple stores. I neve realized it was in there, I just never looked for it I guess. I will check it out thanks for the tip!!

Go to the Natural Beauty section in the Health/Beauty part of the store and you will find every scent of Dr. Bonner's. I use it as a shampoo once a month and as a daily body wash.

Thanks Anonymous - I wish your tip came early yesterday because I just ordered some more products online!! I probably won't receive them until the end of the week too.
