Month 3 Looks

Just a few looks over the past week that I've worn. I've gotten very lazy and I've gotten more comfortable with just free styling I think because of the length it doesn't look as bad to me. I put some braids in today because I'm having a cookout tomorrow so gotta show and prove my SL's!!!! You know I might get "pet" by someone, LMAO!!!!!

Hi! I live in Union NJ and have been reading your blog from the beginning and want to compliment your SL. I am transitioning on Friday and can't wait! I would like to know if you had relaxed ends when you transitioned? I do, and my consultant said they will give me more styling options. I am somewhat concerened with having stringy ends. What was your experience like?

@ A Sista Who Locked - thanks!!! Every two weeks I faithfully get my eyebrows threaded - pain for beauty!!!!

@ Anonymous -- Congratulations on your decision to go natural. Takes a lot of guts to do so. I actually did not start out with permed ends, my ends were processed with the 'silkener' from Miss Jessies (basically a texturizer) but it was probably only about an inch or so. So my ends weren't straight they were curly. To be honest I don't think having the permed ends will give you more styling options because it will limit you in the ability to wear your hair freestyle because of the straight ends. You might find yourself using rollers on a weekly basis to keep the two textures looking the same. How many inches of natural hair do you have? And permed hair? After a few months though you can cut the permed ends off, you will probably want to.

Where is your consultant located? Please send me an email after you get your SL's I would love to hear about your experience.

Thank you for reading and keeping up with my blog.
