Organix is a Keeper

The results are in!!! Last night, I decided it was time to test out the products.  I jumped in the shower with my four bundles (thats the amount I'm down to now).  I opened the shampoo bottle and the smell is so soothing and relaxing.  I poured the shampoo in my hand and then started in the front and worked it through my scalp, can I tell you it just felt like butter on my locks.  I did two shampoos, and then I used the conditioner.  I mostly focused on my ends with the conditioner (even still in the bundles) and oh my felt like someone else's hands were in my head it felt so great!!! When I got out the shower I was pleased to see my curly q's weren't retarted (and not curly q's) so I was pleased with the products.  I then used the split ends mender to do a braid out.  I put in about 9 jailhouse cornrows (straight back) and  I went to bed.  This morning I took them out and my hair still feels lightweight and I feel like it has a shine to it.  What do you think?  I definitely like this product and it will be mixed in with my SL shampoo going forward weekly.

What do you mean when you say your curly qs weren't 'retarted'?

This is Ofo's post that I told you about by the way:

I'd like to try this product too since all you guys are raving about it but I'm determined not to become a product junkie and so have banned myself from buying anything til the SL shampoo is empty (hahha). Also I'm scared to use conditioner cos my hair is still so loose and prone to unravelling. All I can say is I am jealous of you guys!

ps what did your boyfriend say about how your hair smells this time ? :)

@ Bajan Lily - I read Ofo's post as well. I know after a while she stopped using it.

I mean retarted curly q's looking more like a Z or even better and I. LOL! So I meant that it kept the integrity of my natural curls.

Just this morning, I asked him to smell the mender he said it smelled good, but he likes the one with juices and berries which is the Oyin's juices and berries..thats still under the cabinet but it leaves like a feeling of residue on my locks so I have to use it sparingly. He will have to settle for coconuts!!!

Just give in and get the shampoo at least!! Lol..I'm an enabler.

Hahahah look at you encouraging me to be bad! I know what , if I see it on a store shelf (that I haven't gone out of my way to go into) then it must mean that I should buy and try it! Lol!

You post to my blog and said my hair reminded you of yours, but I think you locs look alot more supple and moisturized and the fact that you do have curly q's and not Zs and Is. I haven't got a chance to read your entire blog yet, but have you been using conditioner for a while now? If so, do you suppose that's why your ends are not "retarded"? :P

Yaaaay!!! I am so glad you like it! My hair is still feeling pretty darn good too! I am going to try the Tea Tree and Shea Butter next.

Cool, I can't tell about your hair by the pic but your scalp looks so healthy and moisturized. I saw this in target the night before you posted about it and the day after I read someone elses blog about it but I had to get the clarifying shampoo instead. I wish I could because now that my locks are locking they look so much dryer than before even though they still feel soft. But sadly I don;t think it would be a smart thing for me with my build-up and unraveling. sigh, so sad. :-(

Hey gals!!!
@Kicukalah - this is the 3rd time I've used conditioner on my locks since having them. I used them for the first time when I colored. Then again maybe a month ago. I don't do too much besides water and the SL starter shampoo. I'm trying to stick to the rules, its hard though! LOL!

@ASWL - how did you hair hold up through the week? I'm loving the texture. I can't semll coconuts anymore, but whatever.

@Kay exquisite - thanks - I had to take a look at my pic again, my scalp was shiny! LOL and I see you brokedown, we are all PJ's but how can we help it when things are $5 and $6 bucks.

@Mile High - thanks!! I tried to post on your blog, but I can't see the security word in order to verify its me :-(

@The woman inside -- don't worry when you get the chance you will be a PJ like the rest of us! LOL! in the meantime enjoy it.

@Natural High - yes, the shine is definite. I wonder if its the shampoo or conditioner. I will confirm in the next few weeks.
