It's been a while since posted a picture of my hair down. So here you go. I'm long overdue to do a comparison shot but you get the idea. It has grown, lol!!!
Your hair is beautiful how long does it take you to retighten ? I'm about to take the DIY sisterlock retighten class and wondered how actually difficult it is to retighten hair
Thanks Ashanti! My retightening can take anywhere from 6-8 hours. I never finish in one sitting and depending on what's going on with my life I may not finish in consecutive days. All in all I may sit for three evenings and do the front left one night, front right another night, and then the backtje other. The back takes by far the longest amount of time just because of the sizeodd it. In the beginning it took me about 5 daya to finish. I was much slower and I has touist clips to keep the other locks out the way and I also didnt have the feel for it. Now its a breeze. I encourage you to take the class for your own piece of mind. Don't get me wrong I'd you are familiar with the you tube videos they do teach you the same thing. Going to the class is the stamp of approval.
Thanks so much for your quick response!! Your blog was inspirational in me getting sisterlocks as I'm over in London and not many people have them here. I forgot to ask do you find the sisterlock tool quicker than the others? take care
@Ashanti --- Oh I definitely find the SL tool much quicker than the others. The NL tool is too tedious to thread each needle and the latch hook is extremely cumbersome and large. I have a post about it, somewhere on my blog :-).

I think this blog is great. I remember when we met in Khamit Kinks! Way to go Guru! Will you be at the Sisterlocks Expo in DC in November?
