Just a quick update.
As they says its not just a hairstyle its a lifestyle. Over the time frame I have tested and tried different products but I have come back to the sisterlock products for washing and conditioning my locks. Additionally, from my most recent post I will only be using henna to color my hair and for the added conditioning properties of it. The less you do to them the easier the daily management of them becomes. I use Carol's daughter Tui Oil in between washing which is every week and that's it. I also continue to maintain my SL's myself. I don't even bother looking for trainees/consultants anymore because I always walk away disappointed.
Here I come year 3, still loving my locks!!!

ReplyDeleteThis time around I plan to keep things simple as well. I think less products equals lesser problems. I know some one with gorgeous Sisterlocks and all she does is wash/conditions them and that is it. No other products!
Sorry your not having any luck on finding a Consultant/Trainee. do whats best for you. You are doing a great job!

ReplyDeleteSometimes the product junkie in me wants to escape and go on a rampage but when it comes to maintaining Sisterlocks, the simpler the better.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I'm afraid of. I am such a beauty supply junkie and I really have cut dow over the years but I hope to tone down even more once my SLs are installed.
